Electronic Identity​

Electronic Identity = Student ID + Account The campus network, email, information portal, Web Learning, library, and other university-recognized campus network services share a single set of credentials (username and password). The Tsinghua Jiayuan (家园网) website is not part of the network information services. Use the Electronic Identity Service System (ID System) at https://id.tsinghua.edu.cn to change your password and bind your phone number.

Resetting Your Password​

  1. Self-service reset (requires a bound phone number): On the "Existing Account" page of the ID System, click "Forgot Password" and reset via SMS verification code. Alternatively, use "Forgot Password" on the Information Portal homepage.
  2. In-person reset: Visit the User Service Hall at Li Zhaoji Building (李兆基) B104. Required documents: If handling in person, bring your campus card; if handled by a proxy, the proxy must present both their own campus card and the account holder's campus card (photocopies not accepted).
  3. Email request: Take a selfie while holding your campus card (the student ID number and name on the front must be clearly visible), then send an email to its@tsinghua.edu.cn with the subject line "Password Reset."

Campus Network Pricing​

For officially registered undergraduate and graduate student accounts: Basic services: Dynamic IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, 5 simultaneous connections, 1 email account. Cost: 0 CNY/month. During the pandemic period, no charges for off-campus IPv4 incoming traffic exceeding 50 GB — effectively unlimited free usage.

Wired Network​

Connect your device to the wall network port using an Ethernet cable, then open a browser and enter the authentication URL http://login.tsinghua.edu.cn, or visit the Information Portal at http://info.tsinghua.edu.cn to be redirected. On the campus network authentication login page (purple), enter your campus network username and password, and click "Connect to Network." Once successfully connected, you can access network resources.

Wireless Network​

Wi-Fi networks starting with "Tsinghua" or "Tsinghua-" are campus wireless networks. After connecting, the authentication login page (orange) will pop up automatically. You can also visit http://login.tsinghua.edu.cn or the Information Portal at http://info.tsinghua.edu.cn to be redirected. On the campus network authentication login page (purple), enter your campus network username and password, and click "Connect to Network." Once successfully connected, you can access network resources.
