Volunteer related information

Volunteer resources​

Most of the on-campus volunteer information will be sent out on the WeChat public account "Tsinghua University Student Charity". The volunteer groups of each department will also carry out their own volunteer services, except for brand projects, most of which are internal to the department.

Star Volunteer Selection​

The selection of Tsinghua star volunteers is held around May every year. The selection is based on the number of volunteer hours and projects on 志愿北京网站, and the volunteers are ranked from one-star to five-star from low to high. The specific rules are as follows (excerpted from the "Tsinghua University Bauhinia Volunteer Graded Recognition Measures"):

  • Log in to the Volunteer Beijing platform to register and fill in your personal information to register as a volunteer and join the volunteer group "Tsinghua University Bauhinia Volunteer Service Team". After participating in at least one volunteer service and obtaining certification time, you will be awarded the title of "One-Star Bauhinia Volunteer".
  • The cumulative volunteer service certification time reached 20 hours, and he was awarded the title of "Two-Star Bauhinia Volunteer".
  • The accumulated volunteer service certification time reached 50 hours and won the title of "Three-Star Bauhinia Volunteer".
  • The volunteer service certification time has reached 120 hours in total, and has participated in at least 3 different volunteer projects. After review, he was awarded the title of "Four-Star Bauhinia Volunteer".
  • The volunteer service certification time has reached 200 hours in total, and has participated in at least 5 different volunteer projects. After review, he was awarded the title of "Five-Star Bauhinia Volunteer". In addition, in the annual scholarship evaluation, there will also be an "Excellent Volunteer Scholarship" to reward students who have outstanding performance in volunteer services.
