SRT
At the beginning of each semester, there will be project approval and registration for the SRT project. Please pay attention to the info and department notification groups in a timely manner; the time sequence is first for students to apply for the project, and then for students to register. The SRT system is in the info-learning column. Please note that when registering, "Project has been approved" means that the teacher has approved the project but no students have signed up; "Registering" means that students have signed up. It is recommended that students send an email to the teacher to communicate as soon as possible after (or before) registration.

Project application

Click "Project Application" on the homepage, fill in the project application form as required, "*" is required, then click the "Submit" button to submit the application, or click the "Temporary Save" button to temporarily save the filled in information.

If the information is temporarily stored, on the current project-my project page, click "Confirm" and directly submit the project application. Click "Delete" to delete the project application. Click "View/Modify Application" to enter the modification page to modify the project information. Note: Only unconfirmed projects in the current batch can be modified, and other batches cannot be modified.

Each temporary project application must be confirmed before subsequent project review can be carried out.

After confirming the application, click "View Application" to browse all the filled-in contents.
Student registration

Click "Student Registration" on the homepage to enter the registered project page and view the current batch of registered projects. Read the registration instructions carefully and click "View projects that can be registered" to enter the list of projects that can be registered.

Search the project according to the search conditions and click on the project name to view the contents of the project application. Click "Fill in Application" to register for the project. 3. After filling out the registration application form as required, click "Submit" to directly confirm the application, and click "Temporary Save" to temporarily save the filled-in information.

After temporary saving, on the registered project page, click the "View/Modify" button to modify the registration information; click "Confirm" to confirm the registration; click "Delete" to delete the registration application.

Registration review

Click "Registration Review" on the homepage to enter the current project page, select the "Projects initiated by me" tab, if the project is finally approved and someone has signed up, click "View Registration Status/Registration Review" and the registration review window will pop up for registration review.

For students who have not yet been reviewed, click "Fill" to proceed with registration review. It cannot be modified after submission. For students who have been reviewed, click "View" to view the registration application.

The project sponsor can set "whether to accept registrations" during the registration review stage. If you select "Yes", the project will accept registrations; if you select "No", the project will stop accepting registrations, and students will not be able to see the project in the list of projects that can be registered.

10. When is the registration application time for the SRT program?
There are 2 SRT registrations per academic year, and the registration times are in the 5th and 6th weeks of the fall/spring semester. Undergraduate students of all grades can sign up for the SRT project.

12. How does the project accept student registration?
After the project sponsor agrees to accept, the registration is established. The accepted students cannot register for other projects until the project is completed or the teacher approves the project termination. After each project is approved, there will be two opportunities to receive student registrations. If the number of project recipients is full, the project sponsor can click "View Registration Status/Registration Review" on the "Current Project - My Project" page, and set the "Accept Registration" switch to "No" when the student registration information window pops up to no longer accept student registrations.
13. What should students do if they miss registration?
During the valid registration period, if a student misses this registration, he or she can participate in the next registration.
14. What is the start-up procedure for the SRT project?
All projects that have received student registrations will start automatically from the date of acceptance.
15. What is the funding application procedure for the SRT program?
When filling out the SRT program application form, applicants can apply for SRT program project funds based on work needs and indicate the specific application amount (the funds cannot be used as remuneration for students). The amount of funding for general projects does not exceed 5,000 yuan.
16. How are the funds for the SRT plan approved and allocated?
SRT program project funds are planned and managed by the Office of Academic Affairs, and project funds are allocated in March and June of the spring semester. For projects initiated by students, the project funds will be managed by the instructor. Students have the right to control the project funds, and the instructor has the right to approve and supervise the use of the project funds.
17. What is the project closing procedure of the SRT plan?
Students must submit a complete written completion report to the instructor, and at the same time fill in the project results and project experience online, and the instructor will give grades and credits. Projects that reach a certain level can replace comprehensive thesis training.
18. Can the SRT program replace other practical teaching-related links?
If students request to replace comprehensive thesis training, they must apply to their department, fill out the "Tsinghua University SRT Program Extracurricular Activity Results Substitution of Comprehensive Thesis Training Results Application Form", and participate in the final defense. Experts in the defense group include members of the school’s practical teaching guidance group, members of the department’s “SRT” plan guidance working group, and instructors. Those with excellent results will be approved.
19. How does SRT plan to select outstanding projects? Are there any rewards?
The SRT plan evaluation process is carried out in November of the autumn semester of each academic year. Project instructors and students submit applications, and each department recommends outstanding projects based on a certain proportion of the number of completed projects.
