Party organization related activities

1. TMS Association

TMS Association, the full name of Tsinghua University Student Marxist Study and Research Association, was established in 1995. It has long led and promoted the trend of theoretical learning for undergraduates at Tsinghua University. After 25 years of development, the TMS Association has formed an organizational structure of the school general meeting - department branches - class party class groups, and has developed into the largest theoretical learning society in the school. It has been awarded the school's "Top Ten Societies" for 15 consecutive years.

The TMS Association has chapters in each department. Most party class learning activities are organized by the TMS Association. You can also find red resources inside and outside the school from TMS’s WeChat public account and other platforms.

1. Capital stabilization plan

To put it simply, the foundation strengthening plan is an activity in which one or more party class groups are united to read one book in one semester and exchange ideas. **

It is a fixed activity for each semester. At the beginning of the semester, the TMS General Assembly will determine the book list for the current semester's book consolidation plan. You can choose a book from the book list, or you can apply for books outside the book list. It is generally necessary to hold at least two concentrated reading sharing sessions each semester, and it is also necessary to collect the reading experience of students in the party class group.

2. Deep Root Plan

The deep-rooting plan, for the class group, means organizing class activists to carry out red practice activities every semester. **

Common ways of carrying out practical activities include:

  • Sign up as a class or party class group to participate in various practical and voluntary activities on campus, such as loving labor in the "Qing Dynasty" year, walking the campus red line, visiting the school history museum, volunteering for epidemic prevention, etc.;
  • Sign up to participate in various deep-rooting plan practice activities led by the TMS Association. Information is released mainly on the WeChat public account "Student TMS";
  • Sign up to participate in the deep root plan practical activities of TMS branches of each department;
  • Organize students to visit red attractions and exhibition halls online on their own;
  • Organize students to design interview scripts and interview seniors in various industries online or offline;
  • Organize students to carry out off-campus practice on their own.

Deep roots programs can usually be organized in conjunction with the class secretary. Do a good job in attendance, keep photos, and summarize activities in a timely manner.

3. Theory 1+1/Theme Group Day

"Theory 1+1" and the theme party and league day can be interchanged. The former is a theoretical study jointly with the party branch, and the latter is a medium-to-large-scale activity with the class and league branch.

Note that the "theme group day" needs to incorporate the elements of the party class group and have the effect of co-building of the party group before it becomes a "theme group day".

1. Asking for the Cup

The Search Cup is a theoretical knowledge competition that focuses on answering questions. The specific format will be adjusted every semester.

2. “Quest Forum” Lecture Activities

Theoretical lectures mainly organized by TMS generally invite guests such as Marxism-related scholars inside and outside the school to share theoretical knowledge, real-time hot topics, etc. with students.
